Memphis was another incredible city I’ve been able to visit on this trip. My few days here was all about music, history and seeing my first NBA game. I had so much fun in Memphis, even the terrible weather while I was here didn’t bother me!

Graceland: Of course I had to visit Graceland while in Memphis. My photos of the interior didn’t turn out great, however it was really interesting to step back in time and walk through those retro rooms.

Live music: Sunday night at the Rum Boogie Cafe is Memphis Blues Society Jam. It was amazing to sit and listen as lots of performers got on stage and played – a great night.

Sun Studio: Also a must see in Memphis. It was such a thrill to walk through this building where so much music and history has been made.

Lorraine Motel: One of the most fascinating parts of my trip has been seeing incredibly significant historical and cultural sights, including here, where Dr Martin Luther King Jr was assassinated.

Playoffs: Seeing my first NBA game was so much fun – Grizzlies v Thunder in game 4 of the series. The atmosphere at the game was sensational and I definitely need to see more sports while I’m in the US.
